    Does it work on all KW1/KW5 profile locks?

    The Jacsker KW1 is specifically calibrated for the KW1 profile, which is the standard for most residential pin tumbler locks in the U.S. It works on conventional KW1 profile locks and residential locks with a compatible KW1 keyway. Not designed for SmartKey re-keying systems or high-security models. For very new or high-security models, we recommend consulting us before purchasing.

    How do you actually use it?

    In three steps:
    (1) insert the tool into the KW1/KW5 profilelock just as you would a standard lockpick
    (2) apply light tension and manipulate the integrated pick until you feel the opening point
    (3) turn, and the lock yields. It may take a couple of attempts the first time around, but by the third try, you’ll be handling it with ease.

    A traditional lock-picking setup requires carrying a pick, a tensioner, and a decoder separately—and mastering all three. The Jacsker 2-in-1 integrates these three tools into a single piece of steel, specifically calibrated for thKW1/KW5 keyway profile. The result: you open locks faster, carry fewer tools, and obtain the key code in a single motion.

    Do you have options for other profiles, such as SC1, BE2, or SCH?

    Currently, at Jacsker, we are focusing on the KW1 profile because it is the most common in Mexico. We are working to introduce the SC1 (Schlage) and BE2 (Baldwin) profiles soon.
